And since napping typically isn’t a realistic weekday afternoon option, a quick and easy pick-me-up is a total must. This 5-Minute Iced Green Tea Matcha Latte is not only great for a little extra afternoon energy, but it’s sweet, creamy, and perfect as a healthy treat.  

A sort of superhero of teas, Matcha Green Tea is a super-concentrated powder that’s full of antioxidants and feel-good nutrients, which have amazing benefits for your physical and mental health. It’s a great alternative to getting your caffeine boost in a healthier way and has over 100 times more antioxidants than regular brewed green tea - plus it aids weight loss and fat burning.   

It can be made in 5 minutes or less, prepped in advanced and refrigerated for convenience – so easy! As this iced matcha latte is sweetened to taste and loaded with healthy fats, it helps curb cravings without the caffeine crash and is perfect as an afternoon go-to. For added nutritional benefits, add a scoop of protein to this matcha latte.

Ingredients   

2 tsp matcha powder  

1/2 cup hot water  

2 Tbsp agave syrup (or raw sugar)  

1 cup oat milk (or cashew milk)  

1/2 cup ice cubes 

How To Make It  

  1. Whisk the matcha powder and hot water together until smooth and frothy. 
  2. Pour the oat milk (or cashew milk) over the mixture. 
  3. Mix together and add in ice. 
  4. Serve and enjoy!
