Matcha & Co Bamboo Whisk Chasen

Handcrafted with 100 bamboo prongs for effective dissolution of matcha powder.

Before first use, immerse the chasen in hot water for a few seconds to allow the bamboo tines to unfurl naturally. To prepare matcha, place 1 gram of matcha powder into a bowl, add approximately 60 ml of hot water (80°C), and use the chasen to whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion until a frothy layer forms on the surface.

Produced in Japan, it's a high-quality Bamboo Whisk (also called Chasen).

After each use, rinse the chasen with warm water without soap, gently shaking off excess water, and allow it to air dry completely. Store in a cool, dry place. For optimal maintenance, consider using a whisk holder to help retain its shape and prolong its lifespan.
